Inspired by my favourite Starbucks drink, I was on a mission to craft my own version for a fraction of the price! I prefer my London Fog “dirty” by adding a shot of espresso but that is optional.
Ingredients
2 teabags (or 1 heaping tablespoon of loose leaf) earl grey tea (I love using loose leaf lavender earl grey tea)
~1 cup boiling hot water
~1 cup milk (your choice of the type; I like to use skim)
2 pumps vanilla syrup
Instructions
1. Boil the water. While the water is boiling, add your tea bags or loose leaf tea to a large mug. Once boiled, pour about one cup of water (fill your cup just under halfway with the water).

2. Using a milk frother or the steam function on your espresso machine, froth/steam the milk and vanilla syrup in a separate mug or milk carafe.

3. Pour milk into your mug of tea and enjoy! You can leave the tea bags in for as little or long as you would like. It all depends on your desired taste. At this point you can also add in your shot of espresso if you are going to make a dirty London Fog.

Enjoy!
